Major Kenneth Todd Brightman - 118 Field Squadron

Body:
For those who use this site who may remember my father Ken I just wanted to advise that he died on 19 November peacefully in Calgary, Alberta. He would have turned 85 on 25 November. He was always very proud to be a Sapper, having left in the early 70s only because he emigrated to Rhodesia. He lived a large life, always in leadership roles, always serving others as a CEO and consultant to steel companies around the world, including stints in South Africa, Jordan, India and back in Zimbabwe. His wife Pam died in 2009. He is survived by Stewart, my brother, who lives in Calgary and me - in Sydney Australia. He delighted in keeping in touch with many people from his Sapper days - Fyfe Gillet, John Regan and many others. He was great at keeping in contact with people and was a generous friend. I have fond memories from early childhood of the squadron. Best wishes, Judy
