Sorry to hear of your loss, I have the exact same photo which was taken in the 29 Sqd.
bar in Hameln around 64/65 I think it was a leaving presentation for the S/Sgt. in the centre, I am standing behind just on the S/Sgt. right shoulder. Is your Dad the one sitting down on the S/Sgts left? if so we actually shared the same room!!!

Hi yes dad is sitting down, we only have a few photographs of dads time in the sappers.
