28 ANZUK Fd Sqn

I only heard about this unit almost 18 months after the site was created,from Alan Martin.  He sent me the following info -

"If my memory serves me right it was formed in 1971 when 37 Engr Regt disbanded in Longmoor. I joined them in 1973 and they re-titled to 28 Indep Fd Tp RE when the Aussies withdrew in 1974.  The troop subsequently disbanded in 1975 when we finally withdrew completely from Singapore.
