CRE (Works)

I'm not going to challenge the Squadron title but I was in the first batch of tradesmen (electricians and fitters) seconded for a glorious 6 months of putting in place the power stations at remote locations around the Falklands. At the time we came under the control (for the like of a better word!) of CRE (Works). Although we were put together towards the end of 1981 we left the UK around the middle of January.
