Back in Scotland
I started my career in 71 Regiment when it was formed in 1968. Served as Sqn Signals officer in 102 Sqn (AER) and then moved to Dundee to 117 Fd Sp Sqn, which I late commanded.
In 1977 I returned to the Regiment as OC 104 Sqn in Edinburgh and later, on moving to Glasgow, as OC 102 Sqn in Paisley. Three very different squadrons. What a privilege!
I moved to South Africa for a number of years but am now back in Scotland, living in St Andrews
